Burns, Ada Mae, 88, of Annapolis Royal passed away peacefully Oct. 3, 2010 in the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home, Annapolis Royal. Born in Round Hill she was a daughter of the late Frank and Lottie (Hinton) Porter. Ada worked at Sears in the drapery dept. as a seamstress for many years.
She is survived by son Michael ( Lynn) of Oshawa, ON, sister: Lena Fairn of Moschelle, 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Lloyd Morrison and second husband John Burns; son Patrick, brothers: Earl, William, Howard and Jim; sister Doris. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Harris Cemetery, Moschelle with Canon Kenneth Vaughan officiating. Donations in Ada's memory may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society.
