Obituary of Ada Burns

Burns, Ada Mae, 88, of Annapolis Royal passed away peacefully Oct. 3, 2010 in the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home, Annapolis Royal. Born in Round Hill she was a daughter of the late Frank and Lottie (Hinton) Porter. Ada worked at Sears in the drapery dept. as a seamstress for many years. She is survived by son Michael ( Lynn) of Oshawa, ON, sister: Lena Fairn of Moschelle, 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Lloyd Morrison and second husband John Burns; son Patrick, brothers: Earl, William, Howard and Jim; sister Doris. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Harris Cemetery, Moschelle with Canon Kenneth Vaughan officiating. Donations in Ada's memory may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society.
