Rogers, William Philip "Ike" - 87, formerly of Barton, Digby Co., passed away August 15, 2010, in Tideview Terrace Nursing Home, Digby. Born in Kentville, he was a son of the late Freeman and Ruth Rogers. He is survived by stepchildren, Reg (Linda) Heard, Phinney Cove; Donna, Bridgetown; Carol (Doug) Dukelowe, Ontario; Steven Comeau, Ontario; Debbie Comeau, Alberta; brother, Paul Rogers, Ontario. He was predeceased by, wife, Elizabeth Mae; five brothers; three sisters. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, August 21 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Conway, Digby Co. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Conway, Digby Co. A private burial will be held.
