Obituary of Carol Ann Halliday

Carol Ann Halliday, age 67, of Clarence, Annapolis County, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at home with her loving family. She was born July 29, 1947 in Calgary, AB., a daughter of the late George Binning and the late Marion Marie (Rafuse) Whitman. Carol had lived in the Bridgetown area most of her life. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards and board games. She loved her cats, they were her babies. Carol liked to feed and watch birds, especially hummingbirds and cardinals. She like to look for great deals at yard sales. Carol is survived by son, Tony Scott of Clarence, daughter, Darlene (Dewayne) Halliday of Hillsburn; grandchildren, Nathan Halliday (Chasta), Upper Granville, Nick Halliday (Mandy), Bridgewater; sisters, Ann Gibbs (Ron) of Texas, Marilyn Marshall of Saint John and brothers, Larry Marshall of Grand Manan NB, Harold Marshall of Halifax; step mother, Carol Guminy of Taber, AB; special nephew, Adam McGraw (Charlotte), Regina Sask., many other nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Rodney; two brothers and a sister. The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 25 at Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, 385 Granville Street, Bridgetown, NS with Rev. Brian Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown. A special Thank you to Janet Weldon, Dr. Lori Burgess, Nurses and Staff at SMH, VON Staff, Bridgetown Pharmasave and Dr. Grant Goodine.
