Hamilton, Lovett Clinton, 86, Digby formerly of Port Royal passed away April 28, 2011 in the Annapolis Community Health Center. Born Litchfield, Anna. Co. in 1924 he was the youngest son of the late Eber and Rozedda Hamilton and the last surviving member of his family. He was a fisherman, a farmer and retired from Britex Elastic Plant after 25 years. He was a member of the Granville Beach United Baptist Church where he served as Deacon for many years. He was a Charter member of the Lower Granville Brotherhood. He was very active in the church and the community. Whenever anything needed to be done he was always there to lend a hand. He is survived by his wife of 61 years the former Violet Hunt; daughter Darlene (Randy) of Digby; son Ray (Michelle) of Debert ; granddaughter Chris Potter ( Ian) of Digby; grandsons Matt Hamilton, Lucas Hamilton and Tyler Hamilton all of Debert; two great twin grandsons Owen and Oliver Potter; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sons: Clinton Charles and Lovett Jr. in infancy; brothers: Oakley in infancy, Lendle, Arthur, Orbin and Earle; sisters: Greta, Addie, Sadie, Ruth and Evelyn. Funeral service will be held Monday 2:00 p.m. from the Granville Beach Baptist Church with Rev. Elizabeth Waugh and Rev. Randy Legassie officiating. Interment will be in the Litchfield-Delaps Cove Cemetery. Family flowers only.
