Hamilton, Helen Irene - 91, of Litchfield, passed away in Annapolis Royal Nursing Home, September 9, 2014. Born in Litchfield, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Ruth (McCaul) Sproul. Helen was very active in her church and her community, where she was 4-H Leader for many years, as well as a member of the Litchfield Sewing Circle. She is survived by her daughter, Juanita (Milton) Longmire of Hillsburn; son, Darrell (Barbara) Hamilton of Enfield; six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; brother, Malcolm Sproul of Tremont; sister, Edith Herrick of Kingston. Predeceased by husband, Arthur; brothers, Tillman, Aldon, Elvin; sister, Rosa. A private family visitation will held from 11:00 am Friday until service time. Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, both from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal with Rev. Herb Townsend officiating. Burial will follow in the Litchfield - Delaps Cove Cemetery. Donations in Helen's memory may be made to the Annapolis Community Health Centre.
