Brown, D. Elizabeth - 88 of Lequille, formerly of Clementsport, passed away peacefully on Monday August 25, 2014, in the Wolf Wing of the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home. Born in Gilberts Cove, she was the daughter of the late James and Sadie (Melanson) White. Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting, reading, and gardening; a former member of the Gilberts Cove Lighthouse. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She will be deeply missed by her children, Faye MacLellan (Don), Charlotte Pearl (Ralph), Mary Lou Lockhart (Eugene), daughter-in-law, Nancy Brown; grandchildren, Jeffrey Brown (Suzanne), Adam Lockhart (Ronna), Laura Lockhart (Bruce), Nicole MacLellan (Ryan), Melissa Pearl; great grandchildren, Megan and Justin Brown, Katelyn and Cohen Lockhart. She was predeceased by her first husband, Fred H. Brown (1967); second husband, Clyde R. Brown (1993); sons, Danny (in infancy) and Bobby; sisters, Dorothy White, Viola Brown, Edith Stevenson and Muriel Maxner; brothers, Leonard, Joseph, Chester, Charles and Denis. No visitation by request. Family flowers only. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, August 28, in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal with Rev. Elizabeth Waugh officiating. Private burial will be held in Whitman Cemetery, Lawrencetown. Donations in memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association.
