Obituary of John Kelleher

Kelleher, John Paul, 75, of Phinney Cove, Annapolis Co. passed away August 15, 2014 in the Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal. Born in Fort Fairfield, Maine he was the son of the late Paul and Laura (McLaughlin) Kelleher. John served in the US Marine Corps. He graduated from Saint Mary's University where he was active in the sports of hockey and football. During his career he worked in sales and the hardware business. John is survived by his daughter, Siobhan of Linthicum, Maryland, sons, John of Loudonville, NY and Paul of Las Vegas Nevada and their mother Eileen (O'Dea) Kelleher of Young's Cove, grandsons Connor and Christopher Poole, and granddaughters Madison, Morgan, McKenna, Natalia and Gia Kelleher. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a sister Jane in childhood and sister Nancy Sivard. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bridgetown. Funeral mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday August 20, 2014 in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Bridgetown with Father Joseph Thomas officiating. There will be at a family graveside service at a later date in Seaside Cemetery, Tenant's Harbor, Maine. Donations in John's memory may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Palliative Care Unit at the Annapolis Community Health Centre.
