Obituary of Mary Morris

Morris (Gonzalez), Mary Veronica - 85, of Bridgetown, passed away July 16, 2014, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Ballymena, Antrim County, Ireland, she was a daughter of the late Margaret (McManus) and Pedro Gonzalez). Arriving in Barrie Ontario, at age 19, she met the love of her life Claude Hamilton Morris. Together they had five children of whom they were extremely proud. Mary was an avid gardener, bowler and loved word puzzles. She is survived by children, Clifford (Alice), Kentville; Connie (Richard), Berwick; Anne-Marie (Gary), Bear River; Elizabeth (Gary), Amherst and Joseph (Gail), Middleton; grandchildren, Robert, Jeni, Colin, Garrett, Roric, Jacob and David; great grandchildren, Phillip, Sabastian, Anya-Rose, Keith, Addison and Aiden; brother, John; sisters, Frances, Sara and Margaret. She is predeceased by her husband, Claude; brother, Patrick. Visitation will be held 7 - 9 pm Friday. A funeral service will be held 2pm Saturday July 19, both from Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bridgetown, with Rev. Brian Wallace officiating. Following the funeral service cremation will take place. Burial will be held at a later date. Special Thank-you to the paramedics, nurses and doctors at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.
