Walker, Jo-Ann Elizabeth, 61 of Carleton Corner, Annapolis Co., passed away June 18, 2014, in the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Joan (McDow) Wilson. Jo-Ann's greatest love was her daughter Amanda who she has now gone to be with. She also had a great love for her sister Janet and all her immediate family and friends. She enjoyed 5 pin bowling. She is survived by her husband, Peter; sister, Janet Mills of Centrelea; sister-in-law, Susan (Terry) Bent of Lawrencetown and their son, Johnnie of Cambridge; father-in-law, John Walker of Bridgetown. Jo-Ann was predeceased by her daughter, Rachel Amanda; mother-in-law, Laura Walker. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bridgetown. A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday June 29, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. from the Bridgetown Fire Hall with Pastor Herb Anderson officiating.
