MacAulay, Brenda Lee - 4 June 1949 - 11 June 2014, passed away peacefully at age 65 at home in Annapolis Royal. Youngest daughter of the late Perley and Bessie MacAulay and predeceased by older sister, Beth Wight. Survived by son, Shawn (Jillian) and new grandson, Seb, Shelburne; daughter, Kerri (Eric Hodgin) and granddaughter, Abby, Granville Ferry; sister, Pat (Len) Power, Annapolis Royal and brother-in-law, Roy Wight, Allian's Creek; nieces and nephews, Steven Power, Rhonda Terada, Elizabeth, Tara and Joe Wight; Aunt Minnie Rogers; and many MacAulay and Morse cousins; cherished friends, Karen, Nee McClafferty and Sheila, Nee Whitman, also Joanne Mattison, Teresa and Scott Granger, many friends and her beloved cat, Bella. Brenda loved living in her little house where she could enjoy having family and friends nearby and always made drop-in visitors feel welcomed with her big smile. Her computer, her books and her puzzles sustained her during the past year of declining health. It was Brenda's wish that she be cremated and that no visitation or funeral be held. A reception to celebrate her life will take place on Saturday, June 14th, from 3pm to 5pm at the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 190 St. Anthony Street, Annapolis Royal. "In memory of our mom, we ask that you please take a envelope during the reception. We would appreciate you taking it with you and sending us a story, a memory, maybe even a photograph. These will be collected and formed into a book to be shared with us, with you and with her grandchildren."
