Veinotte, Ruth Madeline - 78, of Bridgetown passed away May 16, 2014, at home. Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Violet (Bezanson) Acker. Ruth had a heart of gold, and would do anything for anyone, even if it meant going without, not looking for anything in return. Ruth is survived by sons, Stuart (Barb), Victoria, B.C.; Mark (Marlene), Nictaux; daughters, Nora Veinotte (Doug Campbell), Grand Prairie, Alb.; Karen (Byron) Marshall, Bridgetown East; grandchildren, Xavier (Natalie) Brooks, Tanya (Michael) Veinotte, Ashley (Melissa) Veinotte, Melissa (Steve) Akin, Jason Veinotte, Michael Jones, Juanita (Marty) Milner, Megan (Joel) Milner, Laura Lee (David) Hines, Walter (Wanda) Kwakernaak, Sarah (Corey) Kwakernaak, Katie Marshall, Jackie Marshall; 27 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; sister, Joyce Beals, West Paradise; sister in laws, Barbara Acker, Middleton; Diane Penny, Porters Lake ;sister-in-law Audrey (Lemuel) Lohnes (Veinotte)of New Germany, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Owen Veinotte; daughter, Nancy (Richard) Milner; brothers, Russell Acker, Donald Penny; sisters, Jean and Shirley. Visitation will take place 7-9 pm Tuesday May 20, and also 2-4 and 7-9 pm Wednesday May 21 from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bridgetown. A funeral service in Ruth's memory will be held 2 pm, Thursday May 22, from the St. Cyprians Anglican Church, East Dalhousie, with Rev. Judy Phillips officiating. Burial to follow in St. Cyprians Cemetery. Reception will be held at the East Dalhousie Community Hall. Donation in memory may be made to The IWK Health Center or Canadian Cancer Society.
