Obituary of Jennie Sarty

Sarty, Jennie Marie, 67 of Clementsport, passed away March 11, 2014, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of Cecil Kane Sr. and the late Elizabeth (Pennock) Kane. Jennie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to cross stitch, cook, scrap book, play cards and spend time with her grandchildren. Jennie is survived by her husband, Harold "Bud" Sarty; children, Kim King (Billy), Clementsport; Dwayne Sarty (Lisa), Clementsport and Tina Mailman, Smiths Cove; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren and one great great grandson; siblings, Sylvia Hillier (late Norm Hillier Sr.), Canning; Cecil Kane Jr. (Rose) , Canard; Tom Kane (Elaine), Woodville; Linda MacInnis (Gerald), Port Williams; John Kane (Heather) Canning; Carol Bond (Carl), Sunken Lake; Christina MacInnis (Howard), Glenmont; Hope Shanks (Barry), Centerville; Holly Boudreau (Donald), Iroquois Falls, ON; several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place under the care of White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 15, 2014, in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal, with Pastor Nathan Waterman officiating. No flowers by request. Following the service a reception will be held in the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 21, Annapolis Royal. Donations in memory may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of one's choice.
