Mailman, Cora Cecilia - It is with heavy hearts that the family of Cora Mailman announces her passing at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville on February 10, 2014, at the age of 82. Cora was born in Saint John, New Brunswick, the daughter of the late Samuel and Cecily Davidson. Cora was a vibrant, lovely woman who was known for her beauty and charm-our Cora was always a classy lady. She was very proud of her family and dedicated to her community. Cora was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is sadly missed by her children, Kathryn (Matthew) Stocker, Middleton; David (Lorraine) Mailman, Grande Prairie, Alberta; Edwina (Anthony) Thomas, Dartmouth; grandchildren, Laurie Ann, Grand Prairie; Jennifer (Ryatt), Edmonton; Tyler (Terri), Grand Prairie; Joyce, Whistler, BC; Allison, Halifax; Matthew, Dartmouth; and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Leslie; daughter, Nancy and son in-law, DeWayne Young. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request. A funeral service will be held 2 pm Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Clementsport Baptist Church with Pastor Nathan Waterman officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date in the Old Saint Edwards's Cemetery, Clementsport. Family flowers only. Donations in Cora's memory may be made to Valley Regional Hospital, Goat Island Baptist Church, Old Saint Edward's Cemetery Fund, or charity of choice.
