Brooks, Frank Eugene, 62, of Bridgetown passed away January 19, 2014 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Middleton he was a son of the late Oran and Thelma (McLaughlin) Brooks. Frank had worked on various farms and at V.J. Rice Concrete. He enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, watching TV and his dog. He is survived by brothers, Donald (Molly) McLaughlin of Lequille, David (Marcia) of Bear River, Laurie of Bridgetown, Brian (Ruth) of Nictaux, Douglas of Annapolis Royal; sisters, Donna (Gordon) Hardwick of B.C., Debbie (Russell) Halliday of Victoria Beach; nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his common law partner, Jean Weaver. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday with funeral service 2:00 p.m. Friday all from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown with Rev. Brian Wallace officiating.
