Obituary of Eva Walker

Walker, Eva Dale, passed away December 23, 2013 in her lifelong community of Bridgetown. Born in Milton, Queens Co., N.S., she was a daughter of the late John Edgar and Dorothy Grace Moses. Left with happy and loving memories are daughter, Kathryn J. (Gary) McOrmond; son, M. Stephen (Pam); grandchildren, , Jessica and Kelsey Walker; Laura and Gregory McOrmond; great granddaughter, Nevaya Rayne; nephew, Ron; niece, Lynne and sister in law Mary Lou Walker, as well as many dear friends and care providers. Dale was predeceased by her parents; husband, John D. W. "Jack" Walker; brother, David Moses. Those who knew Dale will remember her as a devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She felt truly blessed to be surrounded by people she loved and who loved her throughout her life. She took great joy in participating in family and social events, community projects and organizations. Dale loved to entertain, spend summer days at the cottage, winters in Florida, and Wednesday afternoon with her dear friends. Dale was blessed with many talents. She had an artist's eye and created many beautiful pieces with clay, paint, silver, wool, flowers, and fabric. Dale's family invites you to the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bridgetown on Saturday, December 28, from 2-4 pm to express your sympathy and share memories and stories about Dale. Interment will follow at a later date. Donations in Dale's memory may be made to any organization that you feel moved to support.
