Richard "Ricky" Percy Hudson - age 53 of Parkers Cove. With profound sadness we announce Ricky's passing, on December 18, 2013, at the QEII Hospital, surrounded by family. Loving son of Percy and Chestina, brother of Carolyn Wamboldt (Donald) of Middleton, Judith Chute (Walter) of Granville Ferry, Henry of Parkers Cove, Sharon Wade (Douglas) of Granville Ferry, Darlene Smith (Paul) of Youngs Cove and Shelly Hudson (Troy) of Lequille, and uncle to many nieces and nephews as well as numerous cousins. Predeceased by his paternal grandparents Annie and Lewis Hudson and maternal grandmother Madonna Gregory who he dearly loved. Ricky adored his family above all else. He was a kind, caring, loveable soul who enjoyed looking after his elderly parents (Chestina and Percy). Ricky loved people and was always grateful for gestures others did for him. His warm heart, beautiful blue eyes, and wonderful smile would light up a room. He will be sadly missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal where visitation will be held Saturday Dec. 28, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and a private family funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday Dec. 29th with Pastor Herb Anderson officiating. Burial will be at a later date .In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
