Hill, Marion - 78, of Annapolis Royal, passed away October 23, 2013, in Annapolis Royal Nursing Home. Born September 19, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Susy Gavel. Marion proudly owned and operated a large C.K.C registered kennel names SALPAL KENNELS for 10 plus years. She also sold Avon for several years, becoming one of the top sales representatives of the area. She loved her family dearly. Mom was a very fun - loving, spunky and full of life person. She will be greatly missed forever. Marion is survived by her children, Roland Hill (Round Hill), Ralph Hill (Tupperville), Sandra Veinot (Mount Hanley), Sally Deveau (Tupperville), Martha Sexton (Round Hill), Linda Fredericks (Round Hill), Jacob Hill (Round Hill); 15 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; husband, Donald 'Max' Hardy. She was predeceased by her first husband, Ralph William Hill; daughter, Cecila; one grandchild; two brothers and one sister. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. No visitation by request. A graveside service will take place 2 pm Saturday October 26, 2013, in Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown. Donations in Marion's memory may be made to Canadian Diabetic Association.
