Potter, Daniel Paul - 60, of Clementsvale, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2011, in the Annapolis Community Health Center, Annapolis Royal. Born in Annapolis Royal, he was a son of Helen (Wheelhouse) and the late Robert Potter. Danny owned and operated a service station and an Auto recycling yard for 25 years. In 1996, he went to work at Ellis GM, Digby and became the sales manager a position he held until his death. Evenings and weekends Danny could be found on his tractor mowing acres of lawn. Sunday afternoons were devoted to watching NASCAR of which he was a huge fan. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Clementsvale and District Recreation Commission and in his spare time he loved to work in his wood working shop. Besides his mother, Danny is survived by his wife Darlene; daughter, Brenda and granddaughter, Calista of Clementsvale; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Robert. A celebration of Danny's life will be held Thursday April 14, 2011 at 2 pm in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal with Pastor Mark Cress officiating. Private family interment will follow in the Clementsvale Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in Danny's memory may be sent to the Palliative Care Unit at the Annapolis Community Health Center, or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
