Sancton, Graham Franklyn, 74, of Hillsburn, Annapolis County, passed away August 23, 2013, after a brief illness, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born on April 13, 1939, in Simpsons Corner, Lunenburg County, he was the son of Irene (Wile) and the late Harley Sancton. Graham taught himself to play the violin, first learning by sound then later he learned to read music. He was a graduate of Acadian University, Wolfville; taught school for 25 years. He is survived by his mother, Irene, Hampton; wife, Anna, Hillsburn; daughter, Arlene Bridges (Mike), North Carolina, USA; granddaughters, Sierra and Cassidy; daughter, Suzanna, Dartmouth; grandsons, Marc and Nicholas; son, Wayne Hunter, Hampton; grandson, David. Visitation will be held 7 - 9 pm, Tuesday, in Kaulbach family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. A funeral service will be held 2 pm, Wednesday, August 28, in Parkers Cove Baptist Church, with Rev. Jeff George officiating. Burial will follow in Hampton Cemetery. The family wishes to give many "Thanks" to the V.O.N., doctors and nurses at Valley Regional Hospital and Soldiers Memorial, Hospital; also the caring people at Parkers Cove Baptist Church for prayers and cards.
