GREGORY Hilton Harry - 79, of Hillsburn, Annapolis County, passed away in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, on August 7, 2013. Born in Youngs Cove, he was the son of Clarice (Halliday) and the late Harry Gregory. Hilton started fishing when he was 14; he fished in the Bay of Fundy and on George's Bank, scalloping. When Hilton was 45 he returned home and helped his father build a fishing boat and Hilton then went lobster fishing. He retired when he was 70. He is survived by wife, Hazel (Thibideau); sons, Bradley (Jane), South Williamston and Jeffrey (Karen), Hillsburn; daughter, Holly (Shawn) Everett, Parkers Cove; grandchildren, Jennifer and Jeremy Gregory; Tara (Garet) Adolphsen and Gregory Everett; brothers, Otis (Lynn), Parkers Cove; Wendell (Linda), Digby; sisters, Avis (Chester) Hamilton, Hillsburn; Sandra (Jack) Hamilton, Hillsburn; Loraine (Stewart) Taylor, Centerville, Digby Co.; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by, sister, Ethel; two brothers in infancy. No visitation by request. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, in St. Luke's Anglican Church, Annapolis Royal, with Canon Ken Vaughan officiating. Burial will follow in Hillsburn Cemetery.
