Obituary of Beverly Lyle Graham

GRAHAM, Beverly Lyle Passed away suddenly, August 2, 2013, at his home in Granville Ferry, Nova Scotia. Born in Lake Midway, Nova Scotia on February 8, 1937, the eldest son of the late Oliver and Ruth (Speichts) Graham. Raised in Digby, Bev moved to Ontario where he was employed with Mack Truck, Oakville for 28 years. When Bev first moved to Ontario he would think nothing of taking a quick trip to Digby to go to a Saturday night dance. In his early years Bev enjoyed playing country music on his guitar and cars. He would sometimes race his 1965 mustang at Cayuga Dragway. Bev later enjoyed woodworking and taking a spin on his motorcycle. After retirement Bev moved back to Nova Scotia. He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 32 years, Sandi, his daughter Barbara (Mike) Cyr, his son Cody, his grandchildren Samantha, Dylan, Cole, Jennifer, all of Ontario, his brother Leon (Ruth) of Brighton, Nova Scotia. He will also be missed by his fur babies. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the TLC Animal Shelter, 636 Middle Cross Rd., Digby, NS B0V 1A0. A service for family and close friends will held at Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal, on Thursday, August 8 at 11:00am, with Pastor Herb Anderson officiating.
