Carswell, John H. 77, of Mountain Lea Lodge , Bridgetown went to be with his Lord on July 6, 2013. After serving 25 years in the RCAF, he became a licensed carpenter who took great pride in his work. During his younger years he was an amateur radio operator (VE1 AFC), then due to his interest in anything automotive, he became a member of the Annapolis Valley Cruisers and could be found at most of the local car shows. All who knew him could count on his help and his wit to make them smile. He is survived by his wife Muriel (Forsythe) of Wilmot, daughter Sarah (Donald) Meisner of Harbourville, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He was predeceased by a son Troy (Saskatoon), and a brother Bernard (Halifax). Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bridgetown. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Many thanks to all the staff at Mountain Lea Lodge in Bridgetown for their excellent care over the past four years. Donations in John's memory may be sent to the Alzheimer's Society or to Mountain Lea Lodge. On line condolences may be sent to www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
