Peck, Willard Leslie - 75, of Greenland, NS, went peacefully home to be with his Lord and Saviour, Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Born in Greenland, he was a son of the late Orland and Lillian (Hewey) Peck. He was an active outdoorsman and, together with his wife, spent hours hunting, fishing and traipsing through the woods with family and friends enjoying God's creation. He dearly loved his family and sharing the gospel with anyone who crossed his path. All who knew him can attest of his devotion to his Lord. As a young man, he worked in Ontario on the Welland Canal and picked apples in New Hampshire. He retired after 34 years as a hydro operator with Nova Scotia Power. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 54 years, Ruth (Graham) Peck; children, Randy (Cathy), Cynthia (Fred) Cress, Rodney, Dawna (Kerry) Bell, and Mike (Amanda); grandchildren, Jonathan(Heather), Ashley (Matt) , Jeremy (Jessie), Emma (Henry) , Thene, Lara, Will, Brandon, Deane, Shawna, Allyssa, Michael Jr., and Skylya; and great-grandchildren, Logan, Orion and Addison. He is also survived by his brother, Homer (Joy); and sisters, Juanita (Ellsworth) Hutchins, Vileta Hewey, Ruby DeWolfe, June (Frank) Hewey, and Julia Rafuse. He was predeceased by baby sister, Vida and brothers Vincent, Lewis, Carol and Eddy. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Friday, May 24, in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. The funeral service will be held 2 pm, Saturday, May 25, 2013, in the Gospel Hall, Clementsvale. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Bear River. Family flowers only, by request.
