Marshall, Goldie Bernice (nee Stark, Forrest), - 92, Digby/Bridgetown. It is with great sadness that Carleton, Gloria and Donna announce the passing of our precious mother, Goldie Marshall, May 2, 2013. Born February 15, 1921, in Culloden, she was the daughter of the late Emdon and Gladys (Trimper) Stark. After raising her children she spent several years in Ontario, before returning to Nova Scotia, eventually residing in Bridgetown, where she married Lorimer Marshall. We, her family benefited greatly by all baking, preservers, cooking and generosity toward us. We have been truly blessed to have had such a kind and loving mother. She is survived by her children, Carleton (Dianne) Forrest, Gloria (Frank) Prud'homme, and Donna (James) Aucoin. Mom was a wonderful "Nan" to her grandchildren, Bruce, Brian, and Doug Forrest, Kendall, Stephen and Scott Handspiker and Karen Glazer (Handspiker), Lori Smith (Misner), Terry Misner; nine great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She is also survived by brother, Emdon, and sister Violet. Mom was predeceased by her ex-husband, Douglas Forrest; companion, Robert Germaine; husband, Lorimer Marshall; infant daughter, Janice Lorraine; grand daughter, Janice Lorraine Misner; brother, Robert; sisters, Florence, Elsie, Ruth, and Laura.
