Edith Bessie Milner, Age 59 of Karsdale, Annapolis County passed away April 27, 2013 at home in the presence of her children, family and closest friends. She was born in Port Wade 1953, daughter of the late Arthur and Hilda (Ellis) Hudson. Her greatest accomplishments in her life were her children and the home in which she resided. She was a great lover of country music, kitchen parties, gardening and good laughs among friends. Once a former volunteer member of Annapolis Community Health Centre, Palliative care unit; she was also involved in several other fundraising and charitable events. She was survived by children, Tammy Ellis, Joanna Edwards, Annapolis Royal; Dena Willett, Bridgetown and Laura Lee Milner (Jaslyn), Karsdale; Step-children, Dale (Brenda Thomas) Milner, Round Hill; Vincent Milner, Ontario; Darren Milner, Cornwallis; Wanda Ellis, Hillsburn; Joley Milner, Digby; brothers, Francis "Tom" (Marie) Hudson, Victoria Beach; Truman "Baker" (Donna) Hudson, Alberta; Walton Hudson, Alberta; sisters, Jessie Thibodeau, Annapolis Royal; Dena McGrath, Annapolis Royal; Lorna Bruce, Meadowvale; Doreen Sproule, Ontario; Roberta (Wayne) Connell, Granville Centre. She was pre-deceased by her late husband, Joseph Milner and son John Wayne Edwards; step son Joey Milner; sister, Ella Hudson, Halifax and brother, Pearle Hudson, Port Wade. Visitation will be held 7-9 pm Tuesday April 30, 2013, with a funeral service being held 1:00 pm Wednesday May 1, 2013 both from Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal, with Rev. Eugene Foster officiating. Burial will take place in Victoria Beach Cemetery with a reception following at Tom and Marie Hudson's home in Victoria Beach, Annapolis Royal. Donations in memory can be made to the Valley Regional Hospital, Chemo Department or the Margaret Salsman Cancer Care Memorial Fund.
