Miller, Ernest Morrison - 87, of Bridgetown, Annapolis Co., passed away Monday, April 15, 2013, in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Bridgetown, he was a son of the late Shirley and Edna (Fulmer) Miller. Ernie began his life time of volunteering with the Sydney Lions Club, working his way to president; and later a member of the Bridgetown Lions Club. He was an Honorary Deacon in the Bridgetown Baptist Church; member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 33. He is survived by daughters, Linda (Kevin) McIvor, Calgary, Alberta and Wendy Lee Miller (Ron Semeniuk), Fairmont Hot Springs, British Columbia; granddaughter, Janessa McIvor (Dennis Killeen); great grandson, Lochlan; brother, Douglas (Janet) Miller and family. He was predeceased by his wife, Anita "June" (April 2012); sister, Roberta Knickle. Visitation will be held 7-9pm Thursday, with a Lions Club service held at 6:30 pm in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bridgetown. Funeral service will be held 2pm, Friday, April 19, 2013, in Bridgetown Baptist Church, with Rev. David Cumby officiating, assisted by Rev. Dr. George P. Allen. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Bridgetown Baptist Church or Invermere Companion Animal Network, P.O. Box 2448 Invermere, B.C.
