Scott, Charles Elvin -90, Dartmouth, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2013, in Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Building, Halifax. Born in Sherbrooke, on October 11, 1922, he was a son of the late Byron and Martha (Jordan) Scott. Charles was a member of the Canadian Army for five years, served during the Second World War. He worked many years for L.M. Brown's Transport. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hockey and travelling. He is survived by his wife, Muriel (Brymer); daughters, Carol (Bruce) Graves, Dartmouth; Shelley (David) Hartley, Eastern Passage; son, James (Lynn) Scott, Ontario; son-in-law, Terry Richard, Eastern Passage; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter, Lorinda Richard; sisters, Mary Barnes, Peggy Phillips, Emma Barnes, Lena Simpson and Ada Gaudet; brothers, John, Leander, Jim George and Olaf. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremations Service, Annapolis Royal. Visitation will be held 7-9 pm, Friday, with a funeral service held 1:00pm, Saturday, March 23, 2013, with Pastor Shirley DeMerchant officiating, both from Stevens Road United Baptist Church, Dartmouth. Burial at a later date. The family would like to thank all the staff, Chaplain and Priest of 3 West Cedar Crest, Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Building for the loving care they provided Charles. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to Alzheimer's Society or Stevens Road United Baptist Church.
