Allbright, Clara Joan- 70, Bridgetown formerly of Freeport, passed away Friday March 15, 2013 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Digby, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Annie (Robicheau) Thomas. Clara was known as "Dolly". Dolly was always smiling, her smile was very infectious. Most of her working years were spent at D.B. Kenney Fisheries. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed taking care of others and would always put others needs ahead of her own. Her greatest hobby was playing bingo. During her years at Mountain Lea Lodge, she would participate in all their activities. She loved to be social. She will be dearly missed by son, Joseph "Terry" Thibodeau, Kingston, grandchildren, Sarah Moore, Chester and Steven Thibodeau; son, Bruce (Tammy) Thibodeau, Lawrencetown, grandson, Travis Thibodeau; son, David Thibodeau, Nictaux, grandson, Jordan Thibodeau; daughter, Jane (Jeffery) Nolan, Halifax, grandchildren, Jenna and Jeremy Nolan; daughter, Nancy Thibodeau, Halifax, grandsons, Jeremy Hopkins and Tyler Caldwell; daughter, Donna (G.Scott) Rice, Bridgetown, grandchildren, Michael, Cecilia, Ella, and Felicia Peck, Christopher and Alexander Rice; son, Dean (Lesa) Allbright, Central Grove, grandchildren, Nicholas, Andrew, Hannah, Dalton, Brett, and Clara Allbright; son, Kelly Allbright, Freeport, grandchildren, Mackenzie, Colby, and Zachery Allbright; son, Whelan 'Brian' Allbright, Freeport, grandchildren, Shakera and Cody Lewis, Tanner and Brianna Allbright; daughter, Sally (Mackenzie) Akin, Tupperville, grandchildren, Madeline and Mitchell Budd, Marcus and Matteus Akin; she is also survived by nine great grandchildren; brothers, Ray (Elsie) Thomas; Chester Thomas (Linda); sisters, Charlotte Seeley; Patsy Purdy; Marilyn (Laurie) Doucette and Nan (Leonard) Doucette. She was predeceased by husband, Stanwood Ellis Allbright; brother, Carl Thomas. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bridgetown. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9, Friday March 22, 2013, with a funeral service being held 2:00pm, Saturday March 23, 2013, both from the Freeport Baptist Church, with Rev. Gordon Delaney officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Reception will be held in the church vestry.
