Hannam, Ona Josephine - 90, West Dalhousie, passed away February 15, 2013, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Round Hill, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Ethel (Fredericks) Cress. Family was very important to her and spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Ona enjoyed playing Bingo, travelling, attending family reunions and knitting. She is survived by her children, George Hannam (Leslie Davis), West Dalhousie; Frank (Mary) Hannam, West Dalhousie; Marlene (Clair) Bent, Tupperville; Clarence (Cathy) Hannam; Aileen Hannam (Louis MacDonald), Nictaux; Raymond Hannam (Theresa), Alberta; Valarie (Claude) Poulin, Nictaux; 27 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. - She was predeceased by husband, Ronald Hannam; son, Avard Hannam; brothers, Vernon, Carl, Earl, Walter, Truman, Elmer, Willie and Arthur; sister, Stella. Visitation will be held 7-9 pm Wednesday. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, February 21, 2013, all from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown and Cremation Service. Rev. David Cumby officiating. Burial will follow in West Dalhousie Baptist Church Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
