I wish to leave a note of sympathy for the family of Dorothy Thorne. I remember Dorothy as a dedicated worker with the Annapolis County Music Festival years ago. Then, I taught with her briefly when I was employed for six months at Middleton Regional High School.She and I shared duties supervising students in the library. Finally, I was pleased that Dorothy was in the audience at Annapolis Royal Nursing Home whenever I was singing there with the Lawrencetown Male Choir. I am glad that she led such a full life once she retired from teaching, setting an example for us all.
