Kaulbach Family Funeral Home Obituary
Lewis, Beatrice Annie - 91, Weymouth passed away December 17, 2012 in Digby General Hospital. Born on February 13, 1921, in St. George N.B., she was the daughter of the late James Curtis and Lottie (Marshall) Haight. Beatrice was a person who could do most anything, and she loved to travel. She was always doing something; there wasn't any spare time in her life. She loved flowers and her gardens were beautiful. When Reg was alive, they hunted and fished nearly everyday. She worked along side him in the woods always looking after him. In later years they spent their time going to auctions and flea markets. If anyone needed a job done, all you had to do was take it to her and she could do it. Many socks, mitts and quilts were made and given to those less fortunate. Beatrice is survived by daughter, Olive (Louis) Thibault, Ashmore; son, Hantford (Anne) Lewis, Weymouth Mills; grandchildren, Tammie and Mark Belliveau, Fredericton; Louis and Georgette, Weymouth North; Christopher, Ashmore; Jacy and Julian, Belliveau's Cove; great granddaughters, Alyssa Thibault and Skye Belliveau; sisters, Georgie (Mrs. Hallett Foster), N.B.; Vera (Mrs. Roy Beals), Nictaux; brothers, Donald Haight, Porters Lake; Keith Haight, P.E.I. She was predeceased by husband, Reginald M. Lewis; sister, Florence Haight. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. There will be no visitation by request. A private family interment will take place at a later date in the Church of Christ Cemetery, Weymouth. Donations in Beatrice's memory may be made to the Cancer Society or Yarmouth Hospital.
