Obituary of Marjorie Walker

Walker, Marjorie Irma (nee Bent), 91, of West Paradise passed away on 30 November, 2012. Born in West Paradise on 23 June, 1921, she was the eldest child of the late Robert Bath Bent and Leila Bernice (Poole) Bent. She will be remembered always for her unconditional love by her sons, Stephen Walker (Cathy), Jeffrey Walker, Lance Walker, all of West Paradise and her daughter, Susan Saunders (Keith), Paradise; grandchildren, Chad Walker (Erin), Pettawawa, ON, Robert Walker (Stephanie), Carleton Corner, Jason Walker (Stevi), Greenwood, Nicole (Bis) Spracklin (Matt), St. John's, NF, Joseph Bis (Brittany), Brickton, Gary Walker and Dale Walker, West Paradise, Tommy, Nicholas and Dawson Walker, Granville Ferry, and Kaitlyn Walker (Cody), Deep Brook, and ten great grandchildren. Marjorie will be dearly missed by her sisters, Bernice Bowlby, West Paradise, Lois Simms, West Paradise, Madelyn Patterson (Gerry), Berwick, and Joan Lane (Charles), Halifax. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, DeBlois Dechman Walker, in1980, and by her only brother, Donald Bent and her sisters, Freda Lambright, AB and Martha Bent, West Paradise. Visitation will be held 2-4pm Sunday December 2, from Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bridgetown. Funeral service will be held 2pm Monday, December 3, 2012 in the Evergreen United Baptist Church Hall in West Paradise with the Rev. Mark Reece officiating. Interment to follow in the West Paradise Community Cemetery.
