Currie, Ernest Garrett, 95, of Annapolis Royal formerly of Port wade passed away October 7, 2012 in the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home. Born in Lequille he was a son of the late John and Sarah (Mitchell) Currie. He is survived by a step-son Robert Wiles and a step grandson. He was predeceased by his wife the former Violet Wiles long time companion Eileen MacDonald and half brother Angus Mitchell. Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. Thursday in the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Port Wade Baptist Church with Rev. Elizabeth Waugh officiating. Burial will be in the Port Wade Cemetery.
