Obituary of James Mowry

Mowry, James Thomas "Tom" 65 of Bear River, passed away September 20, 2012, in the Annapolis Community Health Center, Annapolis Royal. Born in Saint John, NB., he was a son of the late James and Myrtle (Pettie) Mowry. Tom moved to Montreal and from there started his travels. He joined the US Military and served in Viet Nam. He later returned to Canada and raised his family and his final stop was in Bear River, N.S. He is survived by a son, Matthew (Tara) Mowry of St. John's, NL; daughter, Lisa Mowry (Rob) of Montreal; sisters, Jean (Carl) Forrester of Bear River East; Elaine (Clive) Barnes-Moss of London, Ont. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Jean Mowry. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. There will be no visitation or service by request. Donations in Tom's memory may be sent to the Canadian cancer Society.
