Kaulbach Family Funeral Home Obituary Pittman, Imelda Monica, 85 of Lequille, Anna. Co. passed away August 8, 2012 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born June 5, 1927 she was a daughter of the late Henry and Margaret (O'Heron) Murphy. Imelda was a dedicated nurse for many years having worked in several hospitals across Canada. She joined the staff at Annapolis General Hospital in 1969 as "charge nurse", operating room nurse and retired from the position as Director of Nursing in 1992. She was a long time member of the CWL. She is survived by sons, John (Mellani) of Vancouver, BC; Michael (Jeannette) of Antigonish; daughters, Corinna (John) Wright of Halifax and Karen (Jeffrey) Gregory of Hillsburn; two grandsons, Nathan Wright and Jack Pittman; two grand daughters, Mikayla Pittman and Monica Wright; sister, Cecila Hart of Minto, NB. She was predeceased by her husband W. Stan Pittman; brothers, John Murphy and Al Murphy; sisters, Theresa O'Leary and Kathleen in her youth. Visitation will be held Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal where the CWL will hold their service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. from St. Louis Catholic Church, Annapolis Royal with Father Joseph Thomas officiating. Interment will be in St. Louis Catholic Cemetery. A reception will follow in the church hall.
