Kaulbach Family Funeral Home Obituary O'Neill, Helen Margaret Jefferson Greig - 89, of Annapolis Royal, passed away July 7, 2012. Born in Moncton N.B., she was the daughter of David Greig of Arbroath, Scotland, and Helen Jefferson of Moncton. Her father was Editor-in-Chief of the Times and Transcript, and from him she inherited her love of writing. Margaret worked for Canadian National Railways in Moncton, and later in New York. It was there she met her husband, Jesse O'Neill, originally from San German, Puerto Rico, who predeceased her in 1987. While living in Manhattan, Margaret took advantage of the city's offerings, enjoying Broadway, operas, museums, antique auctions and vintage shops. New Yorkers appreciated her kind and friendly Maritime spirit, which she never lost during her years in that city. In the 1990's Margaret returned to Canada to be near daughter Joy's family and sister, Jean Akin. She is sadly missed by daughter, Joy O'Neill Naime (Norman), Annapolis Royal; grandchildren, Gregory Naime (Eileen), Annapolis Royal; Sasha Lyon (Steven), American Fork, Utah; RCMP Const. Gavin Naime (Gisele), Truro; and Gideon Naime, Coldbrook; niece, Madeleine Akin Carhart, Annapolis Royal; nephew, David Akin (Betsy), Bristol, Rhode Island; and five great grandchildren, Rebecca, Zachary and Alexandria Lyon, Maelle Naime, and Camley Naime. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal.
