Obituary of Patricia Alma Porter
Patricia Alma (Tootie) Porter - age 82 passed away Jan 2 2025 at home. She was a loving wife of 63 years to Ronald Porter. Daughter of the late Garnet and Nellie Marshall. She is predeceased by a sister, Bernice, in infancy; brothers Junior and Reginald. Survived by brother Carl; her children Patty (Richard), Crystal (Roy), Norman (Kim) and Laurie (Theresa). She was a proud nanny, great nanny and great- great nanny to 34. She loved each and every one of them the same.
Everyone knew mom as Tootie. Mom got her nickname, Tootie, from her father as a young girl. She learned to make donuts at a young age from her mother. Marshall donuts were well known. Mom worked at many jobs, with Dr Grimm and Dr Lawrence being where most people knew her. She always greeted you with a friendly smile. Mom was a people person. She would talk to everyone around her, no matter where she was. Mostly she would tell you all about her 34 grand/great grandchildren. She was so proud of them.
We miss you so much mom. You are now our shining light from above.
A special thank you to VON for their kind and gentle way with mom. All of you went above and beyond to look after mom with loving care.
A service will be held 2pm Saturday January 18, 2025, from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal, with Pastor Herb Anderson officiating.
Donations can be made to the Annapolis Royal Fire Dept, The Diabetes Assoc, SPCA or charity of your choice. Family Flowers Only.

There is no need for tears
For with your love, I was so blessed
For all those many years”
