Dear Paula, Theresa, Nick and Family,
I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your Mother. A lot memories came floating
back to the many times our families spent time together.
Every Saturday night Vic and Vi would come up to the house and Vic and Jack would watch
Hockey Night in Canada. It was never Quiet because Vic and Jack cheered for different
Teams.
My mom and your Mom you’ll spend time in the kitchen talking about family, books they
had read and gardening.
Your Mom was the best cook ever. She made the best Chinese foods over the holidays
of which she shared with our family at your house.
So many great memories with your family growing up. She was the glue that held your family
together. Very sorry for your loss. Love Jackie

Mrs. Lescaudron was a gracious host to me, my husband and our son, her daughter Teresa’s godson, when we visited a few years ago. We were greeted with delicious homemade cookies that Teresa described as being a staple of her childhood. Seeing Mrs. Lescaudron ripping apart lobster in her kitchen with unbelievable dexterity and speed will never be forgotten! It was a joy to get to know the mother of our dear friend. She was a strong, kind woman. We are so sorry to hear about her passing.

Dear Paula, Nick & Theresa (& families)- our sincere condolences. I met Vi when I started working here in the early 80's. She was always quick witted and had an answer for every question. I remember her working at Mimi's canteen & someone asked how long it would take to get a burger. Without missing a beat her reply was "depends if you want it cooked or not". This still makes me smile. Brian of course knew all of you growing up and has many memories of Vi and visiting your home.
Our thoughts are with you. Robyn & Brian

I have so many memories, from Violet gladys, her huge garden, crosswords puzzels to seeing her sit with one leg bend on the chair, and not to mention the famous chalkboard. I am so grateful that you were a part of my childhood Vi, I love you now and I love you then. My heart is with Nick, Paula( my Alberta family) and Theresa. Even though the miles stop me from coming to celebrate Violet, my heart will be right next to yours. Hugs to you all. Cathy Gillis Wampler

Please accept my condolences for the loss of your mother (grandmother). I too remember the "Jim Jams" with great fondness! Vi was a sharp lady with a sense of humor and always had a comment for any questions I asked her. She was a great supporter of the school band program in Annapolis Royal and Teresa was a valued member of the band all during her high school years. May Vi Rest in Peace!

..with heartfelt sympathy to all vi’s family and friends especially Teresa, Paula and Nick . My daughter . Heather Grant was very good friends with Teresa in their school days and still is to this day, thus Vick and Vi became our good friends. We would get together often for a rowdy game of 45’s and lunch and tea late in evening, I can atest that Vi made the best Jim jams .. she was a super cook, she was interesting to converse with because of her interest in gardening and baking and family . One day while visiting her in the nursing home, I don’t think she knew me, So I mentioned Jim jams and she looked at me smiled and said Jim jam… god bless you Vi. Love Doreen Grant.

Dear Teresa, Nick, Paula and all:
I remember such good times visiting the Lescaudron home. I felt so comfortable there and Vi was like a second mom to me ( and many others, I’m sure). I loved her. Please accept my deepest sympathy on your sad loss. Love, Heather (Grant)

I’ll never forget the warm welcome that we received when we went with Teresa to stay at her house a few years ago. What a character she was. Kept us laughing most of the time. RIP Vi
