Obituary of Earl Rice Clayton
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Earl Rice Clayton. Three days short of his 87th birthday.
Born on October 13th, 1937 in his family home in Parkers Cove to the late Lew Forrest and Bernice Clayton. He enjoyed many years working as a Captain Scallop fishing and in construction.
He is survived by his step children, Dixie Cress, Berwick and David (Kim) Robinson, New Ross; brother Roland (Iva), Parkers Cove; sister-in-law, Shirley Steeves; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Mona Nancy and sister, Dorothy Louise Bohaker.
Earl was a very kind man with a great sense of humor. He was very devoted to Mona and enjoyed all the time they shared together. He was a great Dad to his step children Dixie, David and Kim and has always considered them as his family. He will be greatly missed.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. A service will be held 11 am, Wednesday, October 16th, 2024 in the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal, with Pastor Collin McMahon officiating.
