Nethery, James Albert 88 of Lequille, Anna. Co.  passed away August 25, 2024 at home. Born Sept. 27, 1935 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. he was a son of the late Albert and Jessie ( Burden) Nethery.

Jim joined the Navy on Sept 10, 1953 and later in 1960 transferred to the Army and served in “The Congo” for 6 months as a cryptographer. Jim joined the R.C.M.P on October 6, 1977 and retired on Sept. 27, 1995.

On November 24, 1956 Jim married Elizabeth Jean Mills and they had three children: Michael, Shawna and Jeffery. They also have grandchildren: Samuel, Nathan, Sean, Liam, Samantha and Zachary; great grandchildren: Cheyenne and Luca. Jim is also survived by a brother Ellis Nethery.

He was predeceased by brothers: Gary, Douglas and Jack.

 Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. As per Jim’s request there will be no funeral service. On line condolences may be sent at www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
