Ponder, Edith Pearl – 92, Moschelle passed away May 10, 2024 at home with family by her side. Born September 24, 1931 in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Bertrum and Agnes (Frank) Dyment.

Pearl was an animal lover and always had a cat or dog by her side.  She enjoyed the outdoors and fishing.   Multi-talented she worked with ceramics and created beautiful Santa's, she did needle work and also made beautiful quilts.  Pearl worked at Sears for many years, was a member of the Moschelle/Round Hill Women's group as well as a member of the Church.

Edith is survived by her children, Christine (Tim) Wagar, Brenda (Joseph) Smardon, and Jacquelin (David) Sabean; grandchildren, Cherri Bosch, Aurther and Jason Munro, Joey and Cassie Smardon, Jennifer Ponder, Sheralyn and Nicole Sabean; great grandchildren, Justine, Brady, Ben, Ellie, Emilia, Autumn, Colton, Alexis, Trenton; siblings, Donna Fahie, Sylvia Mathieu, Janette Delsesto. Besides Her parents, Edith was predeceased by her first husband, John Ponder; second husband, Ernest Peck; siblings, Evelyn, Marion, Annie, and Sonny.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home. A service will be held 11am Saturday, June 15, 2024 in St. Lukes Anglican Church, Annapolis Royal. Donations in Edith’s memory may be sent to Harris Cemetery.
