Obituary of Barbara Ann Sarty

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Sarty, 75, who left us peacefully on April 2, 2024. Barbara is survived by her devoted husband, Lawrence; children Juanita Sabean, Donald (Teena) Sabean, Gloria Jacquard, Charles Sabean, Elizabeth (Keller) Crossley, and Sarah (Jonathan) Yetman, step-son Jody Sarty; brother Arnold Gavel; sisters Rachel (Wayne) Robinson and Audrey Comeau as well many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild, nieces and nephews who all will forever hold her in their hearts. Barbara is predeceased by her mother Elizabeth and sisters Nora and Linda.

 

A special thank you is extended to Ruth Sabean, whose friendship and support have been a constant source of comfort to Barbara and her family. The family would also like to express their deepest gratitude to the palliative care team at the Annapolis Community Health Centre for their compassionate and attentive care in Barbara's final days.

 

A celebration of Barbara's life will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at 2:00pm, with a viewing available from 7:00pm - 9:00pm on Saturday, April 6, 2024, both from the Kaulbach Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal.
