Wallace James Smith Maloney Obituary

Maloney, Wallace J.S. – 87, of Lequille, passed away peacefully in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, on March 24, 2024.  Born in Annapolis Royal, he was a son of the late William and Margaret (Rice) Maloney. Wallace retired from the Department of Transportation, Lequlle. He was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 21 and was a friend of Bill W. for 48 years. In Wallace’s younger years, he enjoyed fishing and getting out on the 4 wheeler.  He is survived by his son, Daniel Himmelman (Annette) Lequille; his companion, Joyce Holmes, Annapolis Royal; her children, Susan and David Holmes. He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Walter.  Following Wallace’s wishes cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal and no funeral service will be held at this time.  A special “Thank you” to Donnie and Helen for all their care.  Wallace will be missed by his cat Ginger.  Donations in memory may be sent to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 21 or your local SPCA.  Online condolences may be made by visiting www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
