Margaret 'Peggy' Luella Ford Obituary

Ford (Longmire), Margaret Luella

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret (Peggy) Luella Ford on February 3, 2024. Peggy was born on July 13, 1939 in Milford, Annapolis Co. She was the daughter of the late Kendall and Beulah (Weir) Longmire of Milford. She is survived by her faithful husband, Clem, of 35 years; her children daughter Sylvia (Doug), son Gerry (Elaine), and daughter Terri (Lutz); sister Anna; her mother-in-law; two sisters-in-law; nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Ray, James (Jimmy), and Donald. Peggy loved spending time with her family and friends. She was happy when she was surrounded by children and established the Delightful Times Daycare in Hammonds Plains. Peggy liked outdoor activities such as camping, snowmobiling, boating, and cranberry picking at Lake Rossignol. She was also an accomplished seamstress and knitter. Peggy enjoyed live music and she was an avid traveller who delighted in many trips across Canada, as well as Germany and Jamaica. The family would like to thank the staff of the Whitehills Long Term Care Centre in Hammonds Plains for their support and care. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be announced at a later date. Online condolence may be made at www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
