Obituary of Phyllis VanTassel

Kaulbach Family Funeral Home Obituary Vantassel, Phyllis Mary, 76 of Villa Acadienne, Meteghan, N.S. passed away June 6, 2012 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Plympton she was a daughter of the late Frank and Esther Amero. Phyllis shucked clams and worked in the fishery for years. She enjoyed watching T.V., doing crafts, music and walking after she retired. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Digby for many years. Phyllis is survived by her daughter Mary of Plympton, two grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great grandson; brothers: Edward of Villa Acadienne, Meteghan and Clifton of Plympton, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon, sisters, Elizabeth, Stella, Jane, Norma and Olive; brothers, Scott, Daley, Camille, Jerome and George. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. No visitation or service by request. Burial will be at a later date.
