Obituary of William Isaac Thibodeau
William Isaac “Bill” Thibodeau – 91, 0f Bridgetown, formerly of Hillsburn and Kingston, passed away peacefully in Valley Regional Hospital, on December 9, 2023. Born on June 10, 1932, the son of the late Isaac and Margaret Jane (Scragg) Thibodeau.
In his early years he started work at the milk plant in Annapolis. Later on Bill began working in car sales. In the early 70’s he began Bay of Fundy Fisheries Ltd, a seafood processing facility complete with a line of trucks and several fishing vessels. Later on as the business grew, the whole family became involved. He spent most of his time at Bay of Fundy Fisheries but did enjoy a bit of hunting in his free time. Although it was difficult for him to leave the business, he adored his winters in Florida with his wife Beverly.
Bill is survived by his wife Beverly; sons, Dean (Cindy), Hillsburn and Tony (Irene), Edson, AB; grandsons, Craig (Marina) and Joel (Suzette); great grandchildren, Andrew and Mackenzie. Besides his parents he was predeceased by siblings, Effie, Lynn, Marty, Frank and Louis.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm December 16, 2023 in the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal, with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. A private family burial will follow.
