Obituary of Robert James Hamilton
Robert James Hamilton, passed away suddenly at his home at the age of 51.
Born on August 29, 1972, he was the youngest of Raymond and Rose Hamilton (nee Crosby) and was raised with a whole crew of brothers, sisters, and foster children.
As a teenager in Upper Clements, he took to skateboarding and drumming in the basement with his friends. He also discovered a knack for filming around this time – not only filming family functions but making hilariously entertaining videos whenever he was left to his own devices.
He moved on to travelling all over the west coast, as many Maritimers do, working as a tree planter, in the oil rigs, and as a road crew. Eventually, he found his best buddy, BG, a big galoot of a Chocolate Lab. With his furry friend in tow, he has travelled all over Canada and back home again to settle on his property on Hollow Mountain Road.
Rob has left behind his sister, Sheila Lee (Hamilton) and brother, Raymond Hamilton Jr. He is mourned by his niece and nephews Amanda, Adam, Robert, and Joel and many great nieces and nephews. He has joined his sister, Melody, brother, Ronald as well as his mother and father, Raymond and Rose Hamilton.
A celebration of life will be held at Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal on Tuesday, November 28th at 2pm. Burial will follow in Parkers Cove Cemetery. Donations may be sent to Mental Health. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
