Obituary of Mary 'Wanda' Weatherbee

Weatherbee, Mary ‘Wanda’ – 62, of Granville Ferry, passed away suddenly at her home on October 21, 2023. Born September 3, 1961, in Chatham, NB, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Frances (MacDonald) Roy.

Wanda loved her family. She was a best friend and confidant to her children, and her world revolved around her grandchildren. She was an avid gardener and loved to volunteer her time to anyone and anything in need. She won several volunteer awards over the years.

Survived by her husband, Al; sons, Jesse (Lacey), Granville Ferry, Alan Joseph ‘AJ’ (Abby), Granville Ferry; daughters, Melanie (Hershel) Fogel, Winnipeg, Sarah (Brandon) Thibodeau, Delaps Cove; Grandchildren, Katie, Jack, Tripp, Ari, Tempy, Isaac, James, Jaxxson, Everlee, Cason;  sisters, Judy (Geza) Stringovits, Ottawa, ON, Lana,Grand Bay, NB, Wendy (Terry) Dykens, Halifax, Diane Roy, Miramichi, NB; and two step brothers, Clancy (Dianne) Keoughan, Victoria, BC, Curry (Jennifer) Keoughan, Ospray, Florida; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Thomas and Kenneth.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. There will be a service in the spring to celebrate Wanda, and share your memories with her family. Donation in her memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
