Chute, Curtis Eugene – 83 – Digby formerly of Clementsvale, passed away October 17, 2023, in Tideview Terrance, Digby.  Born in Litchfield, he was the son of the late Harvey and Lizzie Chute.  Curtis was a fisherman his whole life, fishing out of St. Mary’s Bay and was the owner and captain of his boat “Debbie & Kimberly. Curtis and his late wife Margaret affectionately called “Mom” were inseparable until her death in 2019. He was very close to his family and enjoyed time spent together, many memories were made at the cabin at Grand Lake. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, woodworking building many sailboats.  Curtis could play many musical instruments, he shared his musical talents performing at many benefits.   He had a strong faith in God and his church.  He is survived by his sons, Tony (Kathy) Chute, of Brighton; Curtis (Becky) Chute, of Clementsvale; daughters, Deborah (Lyle) Harris, of Clementsvale and Kimberly (Norman) Chute, of Drayton Valley, AB; sister, Anna (Allan) Kay; brother, Clarence; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Rodney and Gerald.  He was predeceased by his wife Margaret; sisters, Marion, Reta (Chubby) and Ina; brother, Lyndon; sisters-in-law, Elaine and Theresa.  A service of Remembrance will be held 3pm Sunday, October 22, in the Full Gospel Tabernacle, 53 West Dalhousie Road, Lequille, with Richard Weir officiating.  Burial will follow in Clementsvale Cemetery.
