James Harry Riddy Obituary

Riddy, James Harry  of Kingston.


He was the son of the late Fred and Mary (Fisher) Riddy. Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario and Minaki, Ontario, he attended various public schools where he took electronics.


Jim joined the RCAF in 1948 and retired in 1969. He served at various units in Canada but mainly at Greenwood and Summerside PEI as a Radar and Avionics Technician. He worked for WREN Electronic Alarms in Fort Erie, Michelin in Nova Scotia, and Nova Scotia Department of Mines and Energy until he retired. He loved to play golf and was a member of various courses in Nova Scotia. He was predeceased by his wife, Audrey Jeane (Jeffereson) Riddy of Kingston, and brother, Gordon Edward Riddy of Midland, Ontario. He is survived by several nieces and nephews in many provinces across Canada. He will be sadly missed by good friend, Cecelia Thompson and many close friends and family.
